There is something in you
I am unable to reach,
but I feel it.
I feel you.
I feel your pain,
and I feel your light,
spilling from cupped palms
placed at the foot of unworthy altars.
And try as I might,
I stretch and I twist
to reach you,
to empty your hands
of this brilliant pain,
but each time I twist
I come up empty-handed,
wiping your light
from the corners of my mouth.

You are far too good to me with your words

Nicole gives a poem speaking more than it might seem.
