When you’re feeling down and blue
Remember that it’s not only you
The strains in life are so compelling
It makes you feel just like yelling
Remember this, there’s always someone worse off than you
When depression strikes, where it came from you haven’t got a clue
Your glass isn’t half empty, it’s half full
Try to be positive, think of things that are not so dull
The mood will pass they always do, it will lift
With a little ray of hope your mind will shift
So when your feeling down and blue
Remember that IT WILL HAPPEN, the sun will come shining through
Its a tricky balance, even without definite depression, between isolation as solitude and isolation as hiding out or avoiding overload, and reaching out to give/receive support and inspiration, or for distraction. The boundaries always seem to be moving. What do I really need right now? That is a question that should keep us aware, not running on automatic pilot. Thanks for the reminder.
You really work on, where i find hope in my solitude….

We all isolate, for various reasons. Our true friends and family understand. That’s all that matters to me. ❤️
